Conceived By Veterans For Veterans
VeteranCEO’s Entrepreneurship for Transitioning Warriors online program was conceived by veteran business owners and designed for recently separated service members and transitioning veterans interested in exploring entrepreneurship.
A Two-Phased Approach
VeteranCEO offers transitioning veterans a way to explore entrepreneurship without obligation through our Introductory Program and Self-Assessment (Phase 1), and the option to enroll in its Certificate Program (Phase 2) offered through VeteranCEO's university partners.
VeteranCEO's Introductory Program includes three online learning modules that explore the knowledge and skills required for starting a business and addressing:
- Why veterans make good entrepreneurs
- How veterans can best manage their career transitions
- The entrepreneurial process and how it is applied
VeteranCEO has partnered with the Kauffman Foundation, the U.S.’s largest foundation dedicated to the research and expansion of entrepreneurship, to offer an online certificate program that's specifically tailored to veterans and facilitated by certified instructors and veteran business owners.
Veteran Entrepreneur Community Portal
VeteranCEO's Community Portal is an online platform that provides a wealth of veteran-centric, entrepreneurial resources including online learning modules, success stories, news feeds, discussion threads and a community of veteran entrepreneur mentors and peers.
What Makes VeteranCEO Unique?
Unlike traditional entrepreneurship programs that are geared toward general audiences and taught in classrooms, VeteranCEO’s Entrepreneurship for Transitioning Warriors program is offered online through its Veteran Entrepreneur Community Portal and is specifically tailored to transitioning veterans using best practice models, frameworks and tools for exploring entrepreneurship, managing transitions and starting a new business.
